6 September 2018

Thursday 6 September
12 - 7pm

Room for Reading is an opportunity to make use of our unique library on the first Thursday of every month. Books are suggested in conjunction with our programme of exhibitions and projects, and this month we feature a selection of publications chosen by Janice Kerbel, to accompany her recent project 'Sink'.
Publications include:

'Haunts of the Black Masseur: The Swimmer as Hero' Charles Sprawson, 1992
'A History of Synchronised Swimming' Synthia Syndor, 2014
'The Springboard in the Pond: An Intimate History of the Swimming Pool' Thomas A. P. van Leeuwen, 1998
'LIVE' Janice Kerbel, 2018
'Deadstar' Janice Kerbel, 2006

Designed by artist Andrew Miller and filled with an expansive collection of art books, magazines and periodicals, the library is available for reference and research from lunchtime until late, with tea and coffee provided.

Can't make it this month? The next Room for Reading will be Thursday 4 October 2018.
