Postponed—Book Launch / ‘A Place for the Work and the Human Being’ with writer Tom Jeffreys

Good Press, 32 St Andrews Street, Glasgow G1 5PD

Wednesday 22 April 2020

[This event has been POSTPONED due to Covid-19]

We are so sorry to say that our planned public programme for this year's Glasgow International 2020 is postponed due to the global and local impacts of measures relating to the outbreak of Covid-19 (Coronavirus). This includes our new project with Sharon Hayes, the associated events and the launch of our new publication 'A Place for the Work and the Human Being'. We will be keeping everyone posted with future plans when they become clear, and hope to be able to share some online content in the meantime. For now though, we hope everyone can stay safe and healthy.

'A Place for the Work and the Human Being’ ran throughout 2019 and took place in a range of venues, new and old, around Glasgow. The series explored the needs, expectations and possibilities of the space for art today and speakers included artists, architects, curators and others.

The publication, designed by A Practice for Everyday Life, reflects on this year-long series and includes texts by writer Tom Jeffreys and Director of The Common Guild Katrina Brown, as well as details on the international speakers and the varied Glasgow venues that were included in the programme.
